If you want to bring your vinyl records to your set, the Zomo Recordcase TP-70 XT offers a practical solution for the mobile DJ's daily life. The DJ case holds approx. 70 LPs, protects your selection on the go, and remains comfortably manageable due to three integrated wheels when you have longer distances to cover between your car, club, or studio.
Inside, the model is designed for vinyl and offers enough space for a compact, carefully curated record collection. The neatly finished interior padding supports secure transport and ensures that your LPs do not lie loose in the case.
Separate side compartments are available for accessories. You can store smaller items such as a microphone or mobile phone there without having to pack them between the records. This keeps your setup organised, and important small items are ready to hand more quickly.
The outer construction of the case is also tailored for mobile use. Robust aluminium sheet, aluminium profiles, and chrome-plated corners give the item a stable feel, while the butterfly lock, which can be secured with a padlock, provides additional protection during transport.

Preis/Leistung Top, Gutes Case mit kleineren Abstrichen
Guter Plattenkoffer, stabiles Design, viel sicherer als die Alternativen aus Stoff, die man sonst in dieser Preisklasse findet. Auch die namhafte mit drei Buchstaben ;)
Das eigentliche Plattenfach ist gut dimensioniert, sehr angenehm ist auch, dass bei offenem Case der obere Teil der Plattensleeves frei liegt - dadurch kann man, wenn man das Case nicht bis zum Anschlag füllt, einfach durchblättern und muss nicht jede Platte einzeln herausziehen, um zu schauen was drauf ist. Das hatte mich beim Softcase, dass ich vorher leihweise hatte, massiv genervt. Neben dem Plattenfach sind zwei kleinere Fächer für Zubehör - hier passen praktischerweise auch Sektflaschen rein, sofern sie nicht zu bauchig sind :)
Griffe, Rollen, alles okay. Hier kann man nicht meckern, auch wenn die Langzeiterfahrung fehlt - mein Case habe ich Ende 2019 gekauft und danach ging natürlich lange nichts mehr. Leichte Abzüge gibt es dafür, dass die Butterflyverschlüsse bei mir beim Schließen etwas Nachhilfe brauchen, sonst greifen sie leider nicht. Schade. Es wäre außerdem schön, wenn man den Deckel komplett abnehmen könnte. In der aktuellen Konfiguration muss das Case nämlich bei geöffnetem Deckel mit etwas Abstand zur Wand o.ä. stehen. In einer sehr engen Booth wurde das für mich schonmal zum Problem.
Das sind aber keine Dealbreaker. Von mir bekommt das Case dennoch eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Ein vernünftiges Hardcase für Platten sucht man in der Preisklasse nämlich sonst vergebens und wo es darauf ankommt, liefert das Zomo hier auch ab.
